Road Victim Support Northen Ireland-Donegal

Road Victim Support Northern Ireland-Donegal (RVSNID) is a charitable, family-led organisation providing support to individuals and families affected by road traffic collisions across Northern Ireland and County Donegal.

Founded by people with lived experience of road trauma and bereavement, the organisation offers compassionate, understanding support to those who have been impacted by  the loss of a loved one as a result of a road traffic collision.

Services Offered:

• Emotional support for individuals and families affected by road traffic collisions
• Peer support from those with lived experience of road trauma
• Guidance and signposting to relevant statutory and voluntary services
• Community awareness and road safety initiatives
• Advocacy on behalf of families impacted by road deaths.
• Support groups and safe spaces for those coping with grief and trauma

RVSNID works to ensure that families do not feel isolated in the aftermath of a road collision and aims to provide a supportive network grounded in empathy, understanding, and shared experience.

The organisation operates across Northern Ireland and Donegal and engages with communities to promote safer roads while supporting those living with the consequences of road traffic collisions.
